My authored and co-authored articles in Hybrid Pedagogy: an open access journal of learning, teaching, and technology are available here, including the following three that best capture the shape of my scholarship:
- “Occupy the Digital: Critical Pedagogy and New Media” (2012)
- “The Hybrid Scholar” (2013)
- “Building a Community and Critical Literacies With the Domain of One’s Own Incubator” (2014)
I authored a chapter for the first and second edition of Georgia State University’s Guide to First Year Writing composition handbook (2012 and 2013). You can read a PDF of the chapter before it went to press for the second edition here: “Chapter VIII: New Media Literacy” The chapter still remains in a new form in the sixth edition.
In Media Res examines popular culture from a variety of perspectives and experiments with collaborative, multi-modal forms of online scholarship.” I have participated in three of its theme-week calls:
- “Building Context: Occupy and In Media Res” (2013)
- “Process Makes Perfect: Breaking Bad’s Visual and Narrative Obsession” (2013)
- “Beta-Testing Ublend As A Centralized Course Hub” (2016)
